NEW! Saturday, July 5, 2008 Final Part |
Part 4 (of 4) of the Story of the White Ninja. This is it. The penultimate episode of the season. I've been away for a week, wich is why it took a little longer to get out |
|
Thursday, June 12, 2008 Number 3 |
Click here for part 3 of the Story of the White Ninja. I'm considering having the next one be a bit longer than normal episodes so I can sum up this story and finish the season. |
|
Monday, June 2, 2008 Deuxieme Partie |
This is the continuation of the Story of the White Ninja. There will probably be at least two more, maybe three. Then I'll get back to the present and everything will make sense. Just in time for summer. |

What took me so long? |
I know, I know! Two months is WAY too long between updates. I'm sorry about that. I've been busy with SATs, college visits, and a bunch of other things. Luckily, I've been able to get back to the computer and draw out a new cartoon for you guys. Before you watch it, I should tell you that it takes place after the last comic book, which takes place before any of my previous cartoons. This is part 1 of: I don't know how many. It involves fighting and violence, which is why there is a blue notice in the beginning. Watch it here. |

Friday, March 21, 2008 WN#2 |
I figured that you must all be waiting eagerly for my next comic book, so I now have the second one (Which is actually the third book) Just to let you know, it may seem easier to make the pictures non-animated, but I've found that it isn't really, when I started this project, I expected to be able to make these books a lot faster than the cartoons, but it is actually the opposite. So appreciate this one! If you get confused while reading it, it is probably because there are no spoken lines in this type of comic book. I designed this style to fit best on the paper bag covers of school textbooks (which was where I wrote the original story of the White Ninja), so the panels are small and the meaning is conveyed through actions, not words, because words take up too much space. There are no objects in a panel that aren't important, and the story is usually about one guy who fights a bunch of bad guys with karate. |

Saturday, March 15, 2008 A new Cartoon |
So, is everyone stumped by the puzzle? Good; it's supposed to be hard. If you have finished it, be sure to check for updates; I'll be adding new riddles to it now and then. But, now for what you've all been waiting for: a new cartoon. also, episode 7 is now in .gif format. |

Wednesday, March 12, 2008 Sorry for delaying |
Wow, it's been a LONG time since I updated, and that's because I've been really busy lately. I guess I haven't been living up to my word when I said that I'd be updating every week back in June. Personally, I blame the writers' strike, even though I don't hire any writers. Anyways, I'll get a cartoon up as soon as possible (ASAP), which might be Saturday. For now, those of you who like ridles, I've put in a new PUZZLE section of my website. (hint: when you're trying to solve it, think about the words. The riddles get harder as you go.) PS: I've updated the cartoon of the week, finally. Check it out. |

Sunday, January 27, 2008 I promised! |

Thursday, January 17, 2008 Sorry about the delay... |
It's been a long time, I know, but I updated as soon as I could- I recently switched computers and, unfortunately, I was unable to get the FTP working until now. I promise I'll get a new cartoon next week, too. But for now, Episode 7 is here! And Episode 5 is now in .gif format |
|

Episode 6 is in! Also, episode 4 is in a three-part .gif format. |
| Sunday, November 25, 2007 |
I'm sure you all want to see part zero of that comic book. It's called part zero because it comes before one. 1-1=0, do the math. |
|
Monday, November 12, 2007 New Cartoon, FINALLY |
I guess it's been a while since I last put an actual animated cartoon. This one doesn't make much sense, but it's episode 5! Also, episode 3 is now in .gif format. |

Saturday, November 03, 2007 Update |
I'm back from October Break, with an update. Unfortunately, it's not a cortoon. What? Not a cartoon? Not exactly... It's more like a comic book. If you don't understand it, don't worry; you don't have to understand it. |

Cartoon of the week |
So, as you may have noticed, there are no longer any links to season one cartoons. That's why I have the "Cartoon of the week." What is it? Well, every week I'll change the cartoon up at the top of the "Other Cartoons" page, so you can see all those terrible cartoons I made back then... |

Sunday, September 16, 2007 Season two! |
Oops... I was going to update yesterday, but I forgot. Anyways, here's the first episode of season two (although it's more of an opening credits scene than a cartoon... It's just to introduce the characters and stuff that you may have forgotten over the summer) |

Revenge of the Hippos |
Did you all have a good summer? Well, I'm back, and with some changes to "The Game." It seemed as though the characters with ranged attacks were doing too well in battle, and the poor Hippos were getting left all ignored. In an attempt to change this, I reviewed the strengths of the characters and determined that indeed, the Hippos were not as good as their point cost merited. So a bit of altering, and I have put the use back into characters without range, by reducing how far the ranged attackers could shoot, and a few other changes. Hope you all start appreciating the Hippos now. P.S. I'll update the strategy guide later... |

The end of "Season" one |
Hi, everybody! Welcome to my website, full of the internet's best cartoons. Okay, maybe not the best, but if you like watching stick figures do stuff at 2 frames a second (give or take), this is the site for you. As far as I can remember, this is the first time I've ever talked directly to my internet audience (by directly I mean not through my cartoons.) and I guess I have a lot of explaining to catch up on. I made this site just over 3 1/2 years ago, when I made my very first .gif cartoon. It had 8 frames and featured a person tossing a ball from one hand to another. It was terrible. If you want to see it, it's at http://www.dankeohane.com/cartoons/cartoontest.gif , and my second one, the one you see above, wasn't a great improvement from the first. By now, though, I've (hopefully) improved in cartooning skills and plot, so check out my OTHER CARTOONS. For a long time, I've been lazy about updating regularly, but recently I have managed to keep a schedule of putting up at least one thing a week. Just last week, I put up the "season finale" of my cartoon show, which I'm not going to give away the ending of. As you may notice, the site is no longer red. Although a 3-1/2-year stretch is hard to call a "season", We can pretend it just lasted one year, so get ready for a summer of repeats! I'm not getting lazy again, I just need some time to catch up on my cartoon making, so you can be assured that next season will actually have updates every week. And now, to keep you guys satiated for the summer, here's something a little new! It's a game I made using Seltco Flash Designer. But go easy on it; it has to last you all summer! |
