2007 Wheels & Heels Against MS a Great Success!
3 Days … 50 Miles … Closer to a Cure!!!!

Hi, everyone -

Well ... another 3-Day, 50-mile journey is behind us. As always, it was a weekend filled with strong emotions and powerful memories. Inspirations were everywhere, with people young and old pushing their feet and bodies to the limit. Although the going was tough at times, you couldn't tell it from the faces you saw. Everyone had a smile to share, everyone cheered their comrades on and all stayed united in their purpose: to play a role in ending Multiple Sclerosis.

As far as the weather went, we avoided the raindrops yet again. That didn't mean we stayed dry, though, because it ended up being a scorcher. You'd think it had been raining by the way our shirts looked at the end of each day. But we had plenty of rest stops to refuel on water and Gatorade and we made sure to stay hydrated.

Anne, what a warrior you were. Even though the heat made the going that much tougher, you powered onward despite it. Whenever I think I couldn't be more proud of you, you make me even prouder.

So how did our fundraising efforts go this year?

What more can be said? In another year where gas prices and utilities are sky high and your dollars are being stretched to the limit, you, again, came through for us in a very, very big way!!

Anne and I, and the rest of "Wheels and Heels", cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support. The funds you provided go such a long way toward helping those who battle this terrible disease. Along with funding the tireless work to find an eventual cure for MS, the money raised also goes toward easing people's day-to-day burdens. Anne talked often throughout the weekend about how much she appreciated the many services made available to her through your generosity.
